Where do the crickets come from?
We get our crickets from a variety of insect farms located in Ontario and Quebec. We strive to source most of the ingredients for our products from local suppliers, with 90%+ coming from Canada and the U.S.
Are crickets safe to eat?
You, bet. Like other farmed insects, they’re free from parasites and are closely inspected for quality assurance. The crickets are also heat-treated to create a powder, which eliminates any harmful bacteria. When it comes to goodness for our pups, studies have shown that insect protein is as good, if not better, in terms of digestibility than beef or chicken. Interested in the research? My dogs are susceptible to pancreatitis. On your kibbles and training treats I have no longer any episodes of this problem. My dogs love all the products, kibbles and treats. My dog, Lulu, has extremely severe allergies and can only eat one specific hydrolyzed protein food. These treats are the only ones she can safely enjoy, and she absolutely loves them! Finding something that doesn’t trigger her allergies has been such a relief. They smell great, have clean ingredients, and I feel good knowing they’re hypoallergenic and nutritious. Alas, my dogs found, tore open, and devoured the entire bag of these while I was out for dinner one evening. As there was not a single treat to be found, I figured that they quite enjoyed them.

Un seul problème avec le produit, pour un petit chien il faut la couper au moins en deux, on ne veut pas lui causer un problème d'obésité.

I was looking for smaller sized treats for my Pomeranian and came across these at the local pet store. He absolutely loves them. They're a good size for his little mouth. I was also pleasantly surprised that they did not have a bad smell to them. There's a few treats I've bought over the years that are pungent, but not these.

Mon chien souffre d'allergie avec votre produit, pas de problèmes. Par contre, il me faut couper les morceaux, nous avons un petit chien.
Store owner replied: Si votre petit chien trouve ses croquettes trop grosses, vous pourriez essayer celles pour chiots. Elles font la moitié de la grosseur de celles pour adultes. J’ai deux bull dog français qui sont allergique à tout …. Il y’a très peu de gâterie hypoallergenique sur le marcher et les votres sont super !
